Stop saying “He said me”. Hör auf, “He said me” zu sagen.

Häufiger Fehler ~~He said me that he was tired.~~ → He told me that he was tired. / He said that he was tired.

Warum: “Tell” needs a person: told me, told her. “Say” doesn't: said that… (or said to me). “Tell” braucht eine Person: sagte mir, sagte ihr. “Say” nicht: sagte, dass... (oder sagte zu mir).

She told me the truth. Sie hat mir die Wahrheit gesagt.
He said it was late. Er sagte, es sei spät.

“Said” doesn't sound like “say”! “Said” klingt nicht wie “say”!

Astuce (said) : “said” rhymes with “red” and “bed”. “sad” rhymes with “bad”. Assuce (sage): “said” reimt sich mit “red” und “bed”. “sad” reimt sich mit “bad”.
